1. Privacy First & Data Sovereignty

EVMist is designed with a "Local-First" architecture. We do not operate a central database to store your dashboard configurations, widgets, or personal information.

2. Local Data Storage (IndexedDB & LocalStorage)

To function as a persistent dashboard, the Service stores data locally on your device using standard browser technologies. We cannot access this data.

• IndexedDB (via Dexie.js): Used to store complex application data, including your dashboard configurations, cached network information, and layouts.
• LocalStorage: Used to maintain your user preferences, session status, and essential application state between visits.
• Data Persistence: This data remains on your device until you manually clear your browser's "Site Data" or "Cache".

3. Blockchain & Public Data

The Service interacts directly with public blockchains.

• Public Ledger: Any transaction you sign (such as purchasing a Membership or executing a write call) is broadcast to the public blockchain and is permanently visible.
• No Private Keys: We never have access to your private keys or seed phrases. We interact with your wallet strictly through the provider you approve (e.g., MetaMask, Rabby).

4. Third-Party Data Processing & Hosting

While we do not collect data, the infrastructure required to host the Service and connect your browser to the blockchain involves third parties:

• Hosting (Krystal UK): Our Service is hosted on Krystal (UK). Like all hosting providers, they may temporarily log connection data (such as IP addresses and User-Agent strings) to ensure network security, prevent DDoS attacks, and maintain service availability.
• RPC Providers & Chain Data: We provide a convenience list of networks and RPCs sourced from the open-source ethereum-lists repository. This list is served as a static variable from our backend (no database is used).
• RPC Privacy Warning: When you connect to a network (whether using the default list or your own custom RPC), your browser sends data directly to that provider. We cannot verify or guarantee the privacy practices of these third-party RPCs. They may log your IP address and request data.
• Thirdweb: We utilize Thirdweb SDKs for wallet connectivity and stability. They may process metadata (such as IP addresses) to facilitate the connection.

5. Your Rights & Control

Because we do not store your data on our servers, we cannot "delete" your account in the traditional sense. You have full sovereign control:

• To "Delete" Your Data: Simply clear the browser data/cache for evmist.io in your browser settings. This will wipe all local configurations and Dexie databases.
• Exporting Data: If you wish to back up your configurations before clearing data, please use the export functionality provided within the application.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our technical architecture or legal requirements. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance.
